This Loh e Qurani set presents the huroof e muqatta’ah, the mysterious disjointed letters that open several surahs of the Quran. Sana spread the calligraphy across three square canvases in graduated sizes, so the set can be hung in a line, a stepped arrangement or a cluster.
Painted in oils, the three pieces work together as one harmonious design while each still stands on its own. It is a striking way to bring Quranic calligraphy into a modern home.
