This second Loh e Qurani painting features the huroof e muqatta’ah, the disjointed Arabic letters that open several surahs of the Quran. Sana wrote the letters in bold black calligraphy over a soft pastel blue background, giving the piece a gentle, airy feel.
The calm blue tones and simple contrast make this painting easy to place in a bedroom, nursery or study, where it brings a quiet reminder of the Quran into everyday life. It was painted in oils on stretched canvas and arrives ready to hang.
