Creative Flair by Sana (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a small Australian art business run by artist Sana from Manor Lakes, Victoria. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit creativeflairbysana.com (the “Website”), buy from us or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where they apply to you, the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and US state privacy laws.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Orders: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, and the products you buy.
- Enquiries: your name, email address and message when you use our contact form, email us or message us on WhatsApp.
- Newsletter: your email address if you choose to subscribe. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- Account: if you create a customer account, your login details and order history.
Payment information
Payments are processed securely by our payment providers (such as PayPal and Stripe). We never see or store your full card details. These providers handle your payment information under their own privacy policies.
Information collected automatically
When you browse the Website we, and the services we use, automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages visited, time spent on pages and the website that referred you. This is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How we use your information
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including arranging pickup or delivery.
- To reply to your questions and custom order requests.
- To send our newsletter, only if you have subscribed.
- To understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve our articles, free colour tools and shop.
- To show advertising (see Section 5) and to earn affiliate commissions (see Section 6).
- To prevent fraud, keep the Website secure and meet our legal and tax obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We only share personal information with trusted service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:
- Payment providers: PayPal and Stripe, to take payments.
- Delivery services: such as Australia Post, to deliver your order.
- Website and email services: our hosting provider (Hostinger), WooCommerce and our newsletter tool (MailPoet).
- Analytics and advertising partners: such as Google, as described below.
- Authorities: if we are required to by law.
Some of these providers store data outside Australia (for example in the United States or Europe). When we use them, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is protected.
4. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies that make the shop work (for example, your cart and checkout).
- Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) that tell us, in aggregate, how visitors use the Website.
- Advertising cookies used by Google and its partners to show and measure ads (see Section 5).
- Affiliate cookies set by Amazon when you click one of our product links (see Section 6).

6. Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links, including links to Amazon. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. When you click an affiliate link, the retailer may set a cookie to record that you came from our Website. We do not receive your personal details from these retailers. 7. Embedded content and links
Pages may include embedded content such as YouTube videos, Google Maps or social media posts. These services may collect data about you as if you had visited their websites directly. Our Website also links to other websites, which have their own privacy policies.
8. How long we keep information
We keep order records for as long as we need them for tax and accounting purposes (generally 5 to 7 years under Australian law). We keep enquiries and newsletter details until they are no longer needed or you ask us to delete them.
9. Keeping your information safe
We use secure (HTTPS) connections, reputable service providers and strong passwords to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access.
10. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. If you are in the EEA or UK you also have the right to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising in exchange for money.

11. Children
Our Website is intended for adults. Our art kits are suitable for children with adult supervision, but purchases should be made by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us their information, please contact us and we will delete it.
12. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to fix it. If you are not satisfied, Australian residents can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC). EEA and UK residents can contact their local data protection authority.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
